Section 1 Mission

The Mission of the Parish is to keep, practice and proclaim the Orthodox faith pure and undefiled in accordance with the holy scriptures, the decrees and canons of the holy apostles and the seven ecumenical councils and the Ancient Undivided Church, as interpreted by the Great Church of Christ in Constantinople.

Section 2 Aims and Purposes

The aims and purposes of this parish shall be as follows:

  • To proclaim the Gospel in accordance with the Orthodox faith.
  • To sanctify the faithful through God’s grace in worship, the Divine Liturgy and the other sacraments.
  • To enhance the spiritual life of its members, adding to the numbers by instructing others and receiving them into the Church through baptism and / or chrismation
  • To educate the members in the Orthodox faith and in the ethos of the Church through the establishment of programs, schools and philanthropic activities and implementing Christian ministries.
  • To preserve the Greek language through instruction of it.
  • To propagate the Greek customs and traditions through instruction, practice and celebration of such.
  • To maintain a Church edifice and / or other facilities to serve the religious, cultural and philanthropic ministries of the Parish.
