Section 3 Ecclesiastical Organization

The Parish is the local Eucharistic community of the Church, organized under the jurisdiction the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North and South America, whose ecclesiastical authority is its canonically consecrated Bishop/Metropolitan..

Section 4 Property

  • The Parish shall hold title to all of its real and personal property in its corporate name and no other, except as otherwise required by any applicable law. The Parish Council shall administer such property for the Parish.
  • Use of the Parish Hall, or other property, shall be limited to church events and church affiliated groups such as Philoptochos, Ahepa etc.
  • The Parish Hall may be used by a "member in good standing" for receptions such as baptisms, weddings or funerals, provided:

    1. A request is made and an advanced approval is received by the Parish Council
    2. Any such reception does not interfere with church services
    3. The reception is for that member or his immediate family
    4. The facilities and equipment will be cleaned after any such event by the sponsoring party
    5. The sponsoring party is responsible for any damage caused to the facilities or equipment

  • At no time the Parish property, equipment or facilities should be used for commercial purposes or profit, other than for servicing receptions as specified above
