Article V: Ministries
  • All Parish ministries and organizations shall be under the spiritual guidance and supervision of the Priest.
  • Any individual desiring to participate in any Parish ministry requiring knowledge of the Orthodox faith, shall be a member of the Parish in good standing.
  • Any individual desiring to participate in any Parish related organizations must comply be the by-laws or guidelines of that organization.
  • Any individual desiring to participate in any Parish related activities must be a Steward or have the approval of the Priest and the Parish Council.
  • Persons under 18 years of age may participate in youth programs, irrespective of the membership status of their parents, upon the approval of the Priest.
  • Any Parish affiliated organization shall use the Parish facilities free of charge. However, they are responsible for leaving the facilities clean after every use.

Article VII Revisions to by-laws

Article VI: Finance
  • The Parish fiscal year shall be the calendar year.
  • At the first Parish Assembly of each year the Parish Council shall present a financial report covering all income and expenses for the preceding year.
  • The budget for the ensuing year shall likewise be submitted for approval by the Fall Parish Assembly.
  • Each month the Parish shall remit to the Archdiocese its total allocation for Archdiocesan and Diocesan needs as determined by the Clergy-Laity Congress.
Article VII: Revisions to by-laws
    A Parish Assembly consisting of fifty percent (50%) quorum, of members in good standing, must approve any revisions to these by-laws.
